With Devil May Cry V review embargo lifting off on March 6, we're waiting for the western press release to share their opinion about the game.

Anyway, Famitsu has just revealed its review, which comes a bit earlier as it often happens and allow us to have an idea about the qualities of the title.
Devil May Cry 5 Review Embargo
According to the Japanese magazine, it seems Capcom really nailed it and built the Devil May Cry game fans have been waiting for years.
Devil May Cry V has managed to obtain a 37/40 score, which consists of three 9 out of 10 and a perfect score.
Here's the full list of scores as shared by Famitsu:
It's also good to note that Metro Exodus has received its fair share of appreciation, with two 9 out of 10 scores and a grand total of 34/40.
We'll update you as soon as more scores pop out, and of course when we're ready to post the Gamepur review.
Dante’s and Vergi’s age is probably one of the greatest mysteries in the entire franchise I’ve heard estimates from late twenties to a couple hundred years. I assume that Vergil is the older brother (I can’t remember if this was ever explicitly stated.)
Here are some facts that may help determine age
Trish said he lost his mother and brother 20 years ago (This information conflicts with DMC 3 where its established Dante lost contact with his brother years after his mom’s death so she could’ve been speaking metaphorically referring to the rift that grew between the two after their mom)
From what we see of her, Dante’s mom loooked to be in her thirties or forties when she died
Vergil had sex with Nero’s mother years before DMC 3. In his intro and outro cutscenes from the DMC 4 Special Edition he looks to be the same age as he was in DMC 3.
Nero looks to be in his late teens early twenties in DMC 4
Dialogue in DMC 3 implies Dante and Vergil meet up at least once each year and attempt to murder each other, Both of them seem pretty nonchalant about this implying they’ve been doing this a long time
Sparda’s choice of clothing seems to be from the late nineteenth early 20th century (though it could be that he has old fashioned taste)
Just go back to the little park andtalk to the girl. Fallout 4 fail safe test.
There’s also the bit about DMC 2 being set in the “far future” and Capcom for reasons I cannot fathom recently decided to place it before DMC 4. Which I guess means 4 also takes place in the far future? But Lady doesn’t look that old in DMC 4. Capcom could’ve made this a ot easier by just banishing the game from continuity

Devil May Cry 5 releases later this week, which means it’s very nearly time to check out the scores. Dante, Nero and company’s latest adventure releases on Friday, but the review embargo has just dropped, so let’s see what the critics thought of the demonic hack-and-slash series’ new offering.

In our own Devil May Cry 5 review, hardware buff Jacob came away pretty impressed. Vmdk error while opening the virtual machine: vmx file is corrupt.. There are a handful of bumps in the road to deal with, and he says “I found the game’s in-your-face troubled teen attitude abrasive at first.” Despite that, however, he says that “few games are as endearing in their madness as Devil May Cry 5. It’s deeply old-school and made for fans first, but its new character will entertain newcomers and keep them coming back for more.”
That’s relatively glowing praise, and it seems that Jacob’s sentiments have been matched elsewhere. At time of writing, Devil May Cry 5 boasts an average score of 89 on Opencritic, and a low-90s offering on MetaCritic.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at those Devil May Cry 5 review scores:
Devil May Cry 5 has scored pretty highly, then, with a selection of eights, nines, and even a ten. It looks like this well may be the series’ best outing yet, so be sure to pick it up when it releases later this week.
